SEA examination in Trinidad and Tobago

Why all the excitement in Trinidad and Tobago today? Today the 05 July 2012, is an overwhelming day throughout Trinidad and Tobago, it is a day where parents are awaiting the SEA results.
What is SEA? SEA, the Secondary Entrance Assessment Examination is and examination that is based on three(3) criterion; Maths, English and Creative Writing. It assesses what the students have been taught throughout the five (5) years at Primary School level. This Examination dictates which Secondary school the students would be attending or if they will have to resit the examination  in 2013.
At exactly 10:00am today students were given there result slips with which of there four(4) choices they have past for. There were excitement throughout Trinidad some of them were happy as they stain there shirts with ink (signatures of all there classmates were signed on them) this for them signified that the shirts were of no use as they would be leaving for secondary school soon, while others cried as they didnt past for the school of there choices.
My sister wrote the exam and didn't past for the school of her choice but she did make us proud.Parents should take note that once there child has been placed in a school they did well because the stress of exams aint easy, being an A levels student, I can tell you that for sure. So give them a big hug and congratulate them for what they have done. They can only do there best!!!!
Over 18000 students wrote the exams at various primary schools and I would like to wish each and every one of them congratulations for there hard work, they are the future doctors, lawyers and teachers of Trinidad and Tobago.Feel free to congratulate them on the website with comments.
